Founded in 2008 by Donald McKinely, GSM Consulting delivers innovative software and IT solutions for the U.S. Intelligence Community and Fortune 500 companies. When GSM approached Bevier Creative for a re-design, we were excited to be part of the project. After sampling their competitor’s websites, we found many of them were extremely conservative (read: boring). We proposed a re-design based on the premise of being bold, to capture the company’s cutting edge software design capabilities.
We succeeded by adding a large dynamic slider at the top of their home page, with high tech imagery to reflect the company’s skill level. Because GSM Consulting offers services to the U.S. intelligence communities, a secondary concern was website security. We installed several security plugins to keep the site free from hackers or malware. These plugins also send an alert if someone is trying to access the site without proper authorizations.
