To Fight Cancer, Bevier Creative Donated a Website

Cancer League of Colorado’s mission is to secure the cure or control of cancer by raising funds to support innovative cancer research and cancer-related services in the state of Colorado. Bevier Creative recently donated a new site for this not-for-profit, as well as maintain it with weekly updates. This all volunteer organization has awarded more than $10 million to cancer research, patient care and family programs. Cancer League grants have been made to projects across Colorado and have helped thousands of individuals and families fight cancer.

Cancer League of Colorado, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization composed entirely of volunteers. Unique to non-profits, Cancer League of Colorado has no paid staff and no offices. All operating expenses are covered by membership dues and our volunteer staff. Cancer League of Colorado now has over 400 volunteer members who share the commitment to fight cancer and support cancer research.

Cancer League of Colorado, Inc. was founded in 1969 by five women whose families were affected by cancer. Their individual heartache sparked a shared mission to raise money for research and patient care. Today’s the Cancer League’s mission is to help find a cure for cancer.

Colorado Garden Foundation

In the past 25 years, organizations throughout Colorado have received grants totaling over $5.5 million from Colorado Garden Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to furthering the horticultural industry. Colorado Garden Foundation also produces the Colorado Garden & Home Show, the state’s oldest and most prestigious garden and home show which attracts more than 60,000 visitors annually.

A name change from Colorado Garden Show to Colorado Garden Foundation, to more accurately portray its mission, created the need for a new logo and new website. Bevier Creative was selected to accomplish this task, along with a screencast video tutorial so that the foundation personnel could maintain the site moving forward.

Essence Medi Spa

Essence Medi Spa specializes in anti-aging and skin rejuvenation procedures. Headed by Doctor Steven Weinman, Essence has been treating patients in the Hudson Valley since 2002. All staff members are Board Certified, so you can trust Essence to provide the best care possible, at an affordable price. We perform minor plastic surgical procedures that include Microdermabrasion, Botox Cosmetic, Permanent laser hair removal, Age spot, brown, tan and red spot removal, and Varicose and spider vein treatments.

When Essence Medi Spa came to us for a re-design, we recommended a new site built on WordPress and featuring a clean design that puts the focus squarely on the patients and how they have seen dramatic improvement through high tech procedures. The new site is responsive, meaning it scales to whatever size device a visitor is viewing it on. The dramatic before and after photo galleries are also high definition, for those visitors viewing it on high def devices, including tablets and iMacs.

LogHomes.org

This project for an association of log and timber home manufacturers based in Washington, D.C., involved migrating more than 1,000 pages of content onto a new website written and built by Bevier Creative. We built this site on the WordPress platform, which is an open source content management system.  This site enables members of the Log Homes Council to display a bio, photo gallery and you tube video of their homes and crafting process, as well as adding their own events.

This site also features a variety of sliders based on the Revolution Slider plugin. These sliders engages visitors  helps draw them further into the site.  A ubiquitous “Tell Me More” contact form on nearly every page, makes it easy for visitors to request more information as well as increase the number of leads members receive.

[button link=”http://terryludwig.com/” bg_color=”#920A0A” window=”yes”]Visit Terry Ludwig.com[/button] Terry Ludwig is not only a famous artist and a heck of a nice guy, he produces some of the most innovative pastels in the world. Soft and creamy, in 515 colors and square, to give artists more techniques to make their canvas come alive. Terry and his wife Marie operate their business south of us in Littleton, CO, although they ship their pastels all over the world. When Terry and Marie approached us on a redesign of their WordPress e-commerce site, we were delighted. One of the driving factors was that the site has to synch with Quickbooks Online, their accounting software. We achieved this with a number of paid plugins.

Their previous site didn’t really showcase the actual pastels very well. Since artists are visual creatures, we wanted to make the photos high definition, to help increase conversions. And we wanted to populate their home page with all their best sellers, to help increase sales. We also moved the e-commerce capabilities from Shopp to the more stable Woo Commerce. We also added a new Revolution Slider, to help draw visitors further into the site, while showcasing their most popular sets.

 GSM Consulting

[button link=”http://gsmconsulting.net/” bg_color=”#920A0A” window=”yes”]Visit GSM Consulting.com[/button] Founded in 2008 by Donald McKinely, GSM Consulting delivers innovative software and IT solutions for the U.S. Intelligence Community and Fortune 500 companies. When GSM approached Bevier Creative for a re-design, we were excited to be part of the project. After sampling their competitor’s websites, we found many of them were extremely conservative (read: boring). We proposed a re-design based on the premise of being bold, to capture the company’s cutting edge software design capabilities.

We succeeded by adding a large dynamic slider at the top of their home page, with high tech imagery to reflect the company’s skill level. Because GSM Consulting offers services to the U.S. intelligence communities, a secondary concern was website security. We installed several security plugins to keep the site free from hackers or malware. These plugins also send an alert if someone is trying to access the site without proper authorizations.

 

Epoch Homes

Not to be confused with manufactured housing, modular homes are built to the same codes and standards as site-built homes.  Arriving on the job site up to 90% complete, they are set on a foundation with a crane and are usually weather tight in a day. It’s the fastest form of home building on the planet.

By embracing customization and employing award winning designers, Epoch has redefined what can be accomplished in the factory setting. Unfortunately, , their website had not be updated in some time, so it didn’t reflect their cutting edge capability. A new site created by Bevier Creative now does just that.

Faith Homes Design Center

[button link=”http://faithhomes.us/” bg_color=”#920A0A” window=”yes”]Visit Faith Homes Design Center[/button] Faith Homes is the leading “on your lot” home builder in Northwest Indiana and Northeast Illinois.  Faith Homes is a family-owned and operated business with a reputation for building quality homes at affordable prices. Owner Scott Helton came to Bevier Creative for a new website built on the WordPress platform, with the ability to showcase its modular and manufactured homes and floor plans.

We created a clean design for the new site that’s responsive, which means it scales to whatever size device the visitor is viewing the site on, whether it’s a 56-inch monitor or an iPhone. We also created an automated drip marketing campaign that is tied into a customer relationship management software, so those that request a design brochure not only receive an electronic brochure to their inbox, they are also receive monthly emails for more than a year to help convert them from a shopper to a buyer.

University Flats Greeley

The two and three-bedroom units are just two blocks from the University of Northern Colorado, making it super convenient to get to class on time without energy spent on commuting. The upscale amenities at University Flats are unsurpassed, including granite counter tops, private bedrooms and baths, clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, community events, 24/7 staffing and much, much more!

The challenge in creating this site a for real estate developer was how to alert future students about apartment homes that were currently under construction? We accomplished this with detailed schematic drawings of the entire development, as well as floor plans for the two and three bedroom units. As a result, the real estate developer was able to sell out of the two bedroom units before the community was completed and open, with a healthy backlog of students wait listed. Their new site was also able to process orders and applications through an e-commerce capability.

Villas at the Regency

The Regency Student Housing Community is the largest apartment community in Denver devoted exclusively to college students. The developers of this student community wanted a separate site to promote The Villas at The Regency, which is the newest addition to their student housing community and is located immediately north of The Regency. The Villas consist of five, three story buildings with three bedroom/three bathroom units located around a centrally landscaped quad.

Bevier Creative employed stunning photography to help draw visitors into the site and allow them to explore well appointed apartment homes. Schematic drawings of the floor plans convey the elegant furnishings.
